The location was fantastic, just a short and easy walk to the historic center. I felt completely safe walking alone at night, which is important for a solo traveler like me. The breakfast was amazing, featuring a good variety, and the staff member Lauren was helpful, making the mornings feel welcoming and cozy. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness, especially in a historic building.

    None 😊.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to downtown attractions. The rooms are charming and well-kept, plus you get to meet fellow travelers. Just be prepared for breakfast rushes; Seating can get tight, and food might run out. A cozy spot for a getaway!

Wanted to explore St. Augustine and this hotel was relaxing base for doing it. Very amiable staff, provided information if needed. As for me, rooms were exceptionally nice, they offered coffee/tea makers and a refrigerator. The venue had comfortable location so close to historic sites, food, shopping, water.

Central heating, coffee/tea makers, and a work desk available in the king room. Well-equipped bathroom with a bath. Great location, a minute walk from Porta Santa Maria. Plenty of food options at a walking distance from the venue.

The beautifully redone Moroccan-style home offered a serene atmosphere, making it perfect for our anniversary with our 19-month-old. The garden provided a lovely spot to relax, while nearby landmarks like St George Street added charm. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, though some guests lingered at the table too long. a good getaway!

    fabulous location
    excellent room
    inconvenient bed
    minimal amenities

Staying at 1001 Nights was quite enjoyable thanks to the excellent breakfast. The selection was vast, and everything was freshly cooked. The bed placement was a bit inconvenient, pressed against the wall. If you needed to use the bathroom in the night, getting out involved climbing over the other person. The bathroom doors could use some adjustment because they slammed shut, a bit disruptive. The hosts were fabulous, and the location was perfect for exploring St Augustine. I did notice the room needed some maintenance. Although the space was excellent, the décor had so many items that my things had no place. Plus, one towel each for three nights felt minimal. A little more attention to room maintenance and practical amenities would really enhance the stay.

    practical suggestion

Consider requesting a room on the first floor to avoid the steep stairs, especially if you have mobility concerns.

I was eagerly looking forward to visiting Castillo de San Marcos, and I chose 1001 Nights specifically for its perfect location just a few blocks away. One good surprise was the free private parking, which made my stay convenient. The buffet and continental breakfast options were fantastic, with a wide selection of delicious items and freshly brewed coffee, all thanks to the wonderful staff who made the mornings so enjoyable.

    cozy vibe
    beautiful garden
    tricky tap

I love the cozy vibe and the beautiful garden seating where I enjoyed my morning coffee. The whirlpool was relaxing, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the room. Just a heads up, the hot water tap was a bit tricky to use, but it didn't dampen my experience at all 🌸

    comfortable bed
    delicious breakfast
    room access issue

great location, but room access needs improvement

I enjoyed the comfortable bed and found it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The made-to-order eggs for breakfast added a good touch to our mornings.

The room access process was occasionally confusing, especially with the code changes.
